Adventures of Camion

Okay so i didn’t win at the gun show.  But it is the end of our so called weight collaboration.  I don’t think any of us hit our goals.  but we have made some effort towards reaching those goals.  At least I have anyways.

I started out at 334lbs and as of last weekend weighed 318.  So I lost 16lbs.

Not quite what i wanted.  I kind of gave up after i started working people’s choice awards.  I had less time on my hands, and was working crazy long hours.  But anyways, it’s a good start.

Our group is thinking of starting something next week that has to do with losing/gaining wait till St. Patty’s day which is a month away.  Anybody want in?  Its only a month away i’m told, so its a good get in gear starter i guess.  I’m assuming i could probably lose another 7lbs maybe 10 if i half way worked at it.

IN OTHER NEW:

I finished Movie Critics Choice Awards, SAG Awards, and Musicares - Tribute to Neil Young.  I am now working the Academy Awards.  I’ve done a couple of other side jobs, which I’m not really sure i’m allowed to talk about, so i’ll refrain from talking about.  And also you won’t be seeing any or hearing any updates about the Oscars.  I think you get jail time if you even snap a picture of something.

But i will say this.  I’m staying busy, and having fun learning lots of stuff about phones, and setting up wireless DSL modems, and putting in small networks in homes as an office.

* here is an amphenol connector(right side) to a 66block(middle) that i punched down with a 25pair cable(left side) to one of the TV trucks at a show I worked.  This allowed for the trailer to have phones.

and here is a picture of a poorly done Block.  You probably can’t see it in the pic below, but the blue cable that goes up in the air is not cut correctly.  But, still kind of looks cool.

I also kind of in the presence of my first suicide.  I blog about it because, I just don’t see someone could jump off of a building to kill themselves.  We were outside and i was being shown some logistical stuff, and then we here all these sirens.  And right around the corner we find out that a guy jumped off the side of the building.  Kind of weird seeing the plastic bag over the body (don’t get me wrong i’m glad the plastic bag was there), and thinking what posessed this man to jump.  What was so bad about his life that would make him do such a thing.
